OverlayPX privacy policy

OverlayPX ("the extension") shows design images you add as an overlay on web pages so you can compare them with the live site.

What you store in OverlayPX

The images you add and each layer's settings (position, opacity, mode, breakpoints, folders) are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. They are never uploaded. Uninstalling the extension deletes them; you can also delete them per site on the settings page.

What the extension accesses

• The tab you open it on. When you open OverlayPX or press its shortcut, it draws your layers on that page. It does not read or send page content.
• Sites you choose to keep. If you tick "Keep the overlay on this site after reloads", Chrome asks for access to that one site so the overlay can reappear when pages load. You can turn it off any time.

What is sent over the network

Only one thing: if you enter a Pro license key, the extension sends that key and the product name (overlay-px) to https://keys.wildrunai.com/v1/verify, at most once a day, to check it. No images, page addresses or settings are sent.

Buying Pro happens on a checkout page run by our payment processor (Stripe); their privacy policy applies there.

What we don't do

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no selling or sharing of data, no remote code.
